Holotropik

A fresh new year with fresh ideas and some goals in mind sees me putting all the pieces of my scattered sound lab back together again.

For a long while now I have been focused on things other than music. I have still managed to dabble with the music but it has not been the main focus and I have not recorded any of my ideas.

I have also been learning to DJ-mix rather than only play live. I wanted to mix tracks in a way that was close to playing Live off machines with lots of creative possibilities rather than just feeding one track after another. I chose Traktor Pro for this task and have just completed a map for my Korg Zero8 that allows me to mix with 4-decks in a creative fluid way. I will post up the map for it with screen shots soon.

I am happy to be once again swimming in the music ocean
