I don’t want to be a pirate…
I don’t want to be a pirate but I am forced to be.
I want to watch that movie now or listen to that music now, but, when I go to try and get it I am stone-walled because I am not in the right ‘region’…WTF!!
Why can the USA/UK/EU watch it or listen to it yet I have to wait 6 months to a year before I can?? I am being hammered by the advertisements right now…all over the web…yet if I try to get access to pay for it I am not allowed?!
This really pisses me off because its such a narrow-minded business model that is so outdated. Is there anyone out there that is actually aware of whats going on?
I am forced to be a pirate because I cannot get what everyone else is getting. That’s the answer to why piracy exists right now. Sure there will always be a small element that will never pay for it, but forcing ‘prohibition’ is always going to make it worse. Can nobody see the logic in that?
Business needs to stop trying to control and start actually offering solutions…’control’ is so 10th century. Get over yourselves and have a look at what people actually want and work out all the ways you can get it to them rather than try and funnel them into shit they don’t want.
I don’t want to pay for 10 channels of shit when I only want to watch 2 shows. Why can’t I use my bandwidth I pay for to access shows that I want to pay for when I want to watch them? Let me be the judge on what is worth paying for…not you.
….protectionism! and it totally sucks!
Piracy exists because people can’t get access.
